Contact Bacon County Record Offices

This is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. For a current answer or a copy of a record, contact the agency that created or maintains it.

Where to Ask for Records

Use the office that matches the question. BCSO operates the county jail and current inmate list. Alma Police Department handles municipal police reports. The county clerk’s public-record form is a general county route, while the courts and Georgia Department of Corrections answer later stages.

Ask for a docket or certified disposition when a definitive court result is needed.

For a booking sheet or existing identification photograph, identify the person, approximate date, Bacon County Jail, and inmate ID if known. Ask BCSO which Open Records Act route should receive the request. The sheriff’s incident-report form is not expressly labeled as a booking-photo request.
